P\u00e1pe\u017ei na Zelen\u00fd \u0161tvrtok um\u00fdvaj\u00fa nohy dodnes niektor\u00fdm vybran\u00fdm p\u00fatnikom, \u010do v\u0161ak vonkoncom nemus\u00ed by\u0165 v\u00fdraz skuto\u010dn\u00e9ho pok\u00e1nia a pokory.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e1n Je\u017ei\u0161 tento svoj skutok vykonan\u00fd pred poslednou ve\u010derou neprikazuje opakova\u0165, ale slovo o opakovan\u00ed iste plat\u00ed o Jeho slov\u00e1ch a o prij\u00edman\u00ed posv\u00e4ten\u00e9ho chleba a v\u00edna, toti\u017e o sviatosti Jeho ve\u010dere prisluhovanej \u201cpod oboj\u00edm\u201d. <i>\u201cVezmite&nbsp; a jedzte\u2026 a pite z neho v\u0161etci, to \u010di\u0148te na moju pamiatku\u201d<\/i>!<\/p>\n<p>Pre u\u010den\u00edkov v\u0161ak z um\u00fdvania n\u00f4h plynie z\u00e1v\u00e4zok, \u017ee s\u00fa povinn\u00ed navz\u00e1jom si um\u00fdva\u0165 nohy, toti\u017e preukazova\u0165 si vz\u00e1jomn\u00fa \u00factu a l\u00e1sku. Mnoh\u00ed horlivci medzi nami, zd\u00e1 sa, svoje blahoslavenstvo na\u0161li sk\u00f4r v s\u00fastavnom a horlivom \u201cum\u00fdvan\u00ed hl\u00e1v\u201d svojich bl\u00ed\u017enych, hoci aj bez vody. K pok\u00e1niu mo\u017eno s\u00edce vola\u0165 ka\u017ed\u00e9ho \u010dloveka, ale nikoho nemo\u017eno k pok\u00e1niu n\u00fati\u0165 ak\u00fdmko\u013evek n\u00e1sil\u00edm, alebo n\u00e1tlakom. Plat\u00ed to v rodine i v cirkvi.<\/p>\n<p>Z\u00e1verom si pripome\u0148me, \u017ee P\u00e1n Je\u017ei\u0161 aj pri ustanoven\u00ed Krstu sv\u00e4t\u00e9ho nadviazal na n\u00e1bo\u017eensk\u00e9 konanie be\u017en\u00e9 v Jeho dobe. T\u00fdm iste\u017ee neschva\u013euje ritu\u00e1lne um\u00fdvanie u \u017didov a u\u017e v\u00f4bec nie&nbsp; zm\u00fd\u0161\u013eanie pohanov o magickom p\u00f4soben\u00ed vody. Krst sv\u00e4t\u00fd, ako k\u00fape\u013e znovuzrodenia, bez oh\u013eadu na mno\u017estvo vody, bez oh\u013eadu na to, \u010di je z Jord\u00e1nu, alebo ak\u00e9hoko\u013evek in\u00e9ho prame\u0148a, symbolicky nazna\u010duje to, \u010do On kon\u00e1 a v Krste sv\u00e4tom d\u00e1va. On zvrchovane slobodne a milostivo sp\u00e1ja svoje spasite\u013en\u00e9 dielo s obmyt\u00edm pri Krste sv\u00e4tom.
